Company History -

Blackhawk Appraisal Service, Inc. was formed by V. Lamar Echols in February of 2002 with early experience dating back to 1998. Mr. Echols began his apprenticeship with Scott Appraisals in May of the aforementioned year and serviced Graham County. During this time Mr. Echols performed research on properties in rural areas comprising mainly raw land, single family detached residences, and manufactured homes.

In August of 1999, Mr. Echols relocated to the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and became associated with American Eagle Appraisal & Consulting, Inc. During his time with American Eagle, Mr. Echols finished his apprenticeship and received his license in May of 2001. Upon receiving his license, Mr. Echols continued to appraise and received additional experience in appraising complex residential, income properties, raw land and condominiums.

In February of 2002, Mr. Echols formed Blackhawk Appraisal Service, Inc. in association with American Eagle Appraisal. During the company's short existence, we have become a leading provider of real estate valuations for the mortgage lending marketplace in Arizona.  Due to our association with American Eagle Appraisal, we have years of experience in the business and have a proven track record of reducing lenders time, efforts and costs in managing the appraisal process.  We also service individuals in providing appraisals for employee relocation, estate planning, and divorce settlement.
